PRODUCTION COMPANY:

ALBA SOTORRA S.L.

Based in Barcelona, Alba Sotorra produces international films with a gender-conscious perspective and a social commitment that move the audience because of their genuine and risky essence. Motivated by the lack of diversity of points of view in the cinema industry, the company seeks to give voice to a wide range of stories told by women, both emerging and renowned talents. With a filmography of over 15 titles, it has participated at major international festivals such as HotDocs, Karlovy Vary, Shanghai, SXSW, Warsaw or IFFR, and has a solid relationship with international co-producers, film funds, and broadcasters.

TRAILER ENGLISH

Meri and Joan are a couple of filmmakers who have given voice to untold human stories by working together on many documentaries since 2010. Now, they're turning the camera towards their own experiences, starting with their child's health issue and expanding to address the pressing collective issue of pursuing healthier environments amidst the environmental crisis. After years of weaving stories for others, this project holds deep personal significance.
